serving Others
Dr. Monica Wandro felt the pull towards dentistry during her junior year of high school. After countless hours at the dentist with crowded teeth and braces, she knew changing lives by shaping and saving smiles was for her. And dentistry offered her a unique opportunity to serve others while combining her love of science and art.
Dental Education
She earned her undergraduate biology degree at Iowa State University where she also met her future husband, Nick. After college she went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Advanced Training
Dr. Wandro has completed Invisalign training, is a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association Leadership Academy and has received advanced dental implant training through the Colorado Surgical Institute.

back
She volunteers as a Triage Co-lead with the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy annual free dental clinic for patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or who may not have access to dental care.
Home life
She loves spending time with her husband as they plan to hike every National Park. She also enjoys running (2 marathons, 5 half marathons, several 10k and 5k runs), visiting new places, taking frequent trips to Iowa to spend time with family, and kayaking Lake Thunderbird.
